Maria Vargo here, President of G.K. Chesterton Entertainment. Thank you for checking out this very special project and fundraiser; I'm so excited to share it with you!
Momenta Sacra (Latin for “Holy Moments”) is a short film series(3-5 minutes per short) that highlights some of the most important moments in the lives of the Saints. My hope is that their stories will lead viewers to a deeper yearning for prayer and inspire each one of us to boldly live out our faith. I invite you to partner with us in the making of this series - we're raising funds to bring these powerful stories to life! Read on to know more about our vision for this project and how you can help.
St. Therese of the Little Flower, as she is also known, is a young French nun from the late 19th century. She lived what she called 'The Little Way', a form of life that encouraged her to do small tasks with great love. Her life's mission was for the salvation of all people. Fittingly, St. Therese is the patron saint of missions. She died at the young age of 24. Believing that her life was really just beginning for God, she promised to spend her heaven doing good on earth. Her promised 'Shower of Roses' has become a torrent in the Church ever since.
Help us bring this meditative piece to life by selecting one of our suggested donation values (see PERKS section below) or any amount you feel called to give. Thank you for partnering with us to get this made!
Every donation counts and we value any amount you feel called to give. We wanted to add a little fun by introducing some perks you can enjoy at certain tiers.

The lives of the saints have always been and will be important to GKCE. We know that their witnesses are some of the most powerful and by sharing their stories it's an opportunity for real conversion of the heart.
In recent years, we've seen the tides of our culture slipping away into spiritual darkness. Yet, our faith remains the only thing that brings true light and real hope to a darkened world.
We at GKCE believe that art and media have the singular, far-reaching ability to influence the culture at large. In just a few moments a beautiful work of art can touch the soul in a truly personal and life-changing way. It is with this in mind that Momenta Sacra was created. We plan to tell visually beautiful stories of how God used seemingly ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things; many of whom changed history in the process.
The lives of the Saints are edifying. We pray that this series will encourage you and your faith life and help us all to live a more saintly life.
We're raising funds to produce 10 short films in 10 months. Help us bring these powerful stories to life by donating to this production.

The Fundraising and Production Process
Our goal is to raise funds, film, and release each short film in quick, successive cycles. Depending on how fast we can raise donations, we'd like to produce and release at least one short film per month. With your help, we could potentially complete all 10 sooner!
Touching Souls Across the Globe
Our aim is to touch as many people as we can around the world. Much like how The Last Days and our Lenten Reflections were aired and promoted by EWTN last year. We are in talks with Christian broadcasting platforms to potentially air the Momenta Sacra series. We're also looking into making them available for private programs at various parishes and Christian organizations. The potential for its reach is endless, so this is going to be pretty exciting! We'll share updates as they emerge!

Momenta Sacra is our largest project yet and it will cost us a substantial amount to make. With your support, we can cover expenses for the entire production and begin to fund other major projects in store for this year.
